Kilowott Announces Major Hiring Spree

On the heels of recruiting more than two dozen candidates this fiscal, Kilowott, a leading technology company headquartered in Porvorim, in North Goa, with a footprint across three continents, is embarking on yet another hiring spree.
Over the last few years, Goa has been positioning itself as a hub for innovation and growth in the IT sector attracting a diverse array of companies ranging from startups to established multinational corporations. This growth has not only boosted the local economy but also positioned Goa as a significant player in the global technology landscape.
The rapidly expanding Goa-based technology firm, which services several Fortune 500 companies, has onboarded 30 new employees since the beginning of the new financial year in April 2024 and is poised to hire an additional 80 - 100 people by the end of the year, marking a significant growth trajectory. The recruitment process was carried out by a Goa-based human resources firm, Reckrute.
The recent hires at Kilowott span various departments, reflecting the diverse skill sets required for the company’s operations in Asia, North America and Europe. These include technical & non-technical freshers and software developers proficient in PHP, WordPress, .Net, React and Node. Among others are software testers specialising in manual and automation testing, and digital marketing specialists with expertise in content curation, SEO, paid ads, ad analytics and social media management.
Professionals in business-enabling functions such as HR, Finance and Sales have also been recruited, even as Kilowott has filled managerial positions including project manager, delivery manager and operations manager, further enhancing its leadership team.
“We’ve secured some new contracts and are excited about the growth opportunities ahead,” said Aaron Fernandez, co-founder at Kilowott. “This hiring spree is not just about increasing our numbers but strategically enhancing our capabilities to meet the demands of our expanding client base. By bringing in fresh talent and diverse expertise, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering innovative solutions and maintaining our competitive edge in the global market.”
The next phase of hiring, which aims to bring on board more employees, will be strategically distributed across departments based on the evolving needs of the company.
