Our Spotlight series is an opportunity to meet our team at HRchitect. Every month, we shine a spotlight on a member of our team for you to learn more about. Get to know all about Jayne Sutcliffe, Dayforce Implementation Manager, in this month’s Spotlight.

Jayne Sutcliffe joined HRchitect in the Dayforce practice in March of 2023 as a Senior Implementation Consultant. Her expertise, knowledge, and leadership earned her a promotion to Dayforce Implementation Manager in February of 2024. Jayne brings over 16 years of HCM technology and over six years as a Dayforce consultant to the award-winning HRchitect team. In addition to her strong implementation and consulting background, Jayne has extensive experience in HR and benefits from her previous roles as an HR and Benefits Account Manager and Benefit Implementation Specialist.

Hometown: Orem, Utah

Alma mater: I received my Bachelor of Business Administration from Utah Valley University, Orem, Utah.

All-time favorite restaurant:   I love any good Mexican or Sushi restaurant.

Last book you read or favorite author: I love reading and will read almost anything you put in front of me. I especially enjoy reading books by Catherine Steadman and Liane Moriarty.

What do you do when you’re not working?  I enjoy hiking, boating, camping, walking with the dogs, and time spent with family and friends in my free time. I especially enjoy spending my time outdoors.

How did you find out about HRchitect, and what made you join the company ?  I knew a couple of colleagues who worked at HRchitect. After researching the company more in-depth, I found that the culture, work-life balance, and positive environment were a great fit and aligned with my personal and professional goals.

How has your background impacted your experience as a consultant?  My experience in the Human Resources (HR) and Benefits world has given me a great understanding of our clients’ needs and requirements. My expertise in the processes allows me to communicate effectively with clients on Discovery Calls, and the configuration of the systems.

In your own words, what do you do at HRchitect?  As an Implementation Manager, I collaborate with clients and my team to ensure successful implementations and post-go-live support resolution while also creating strong and lasting relationships with our clients and vendors.

Jayne’s expertise often earns her kudos from our clients. This one in particular for an Implementation Services Client-Side support project she worked on for our client in the non-profit industry.

What’s a typical workday like for you?  In the Human Capital Management (HCM) world, every day is different. Depending on the projects we are managing, I participate in client meetings for requirements gathering and configuration or jumping in to help the team with any projects or items they need assistance with.

Tell me about a project you’ve worked on that you’re particularly proud of.  I am very fond of a client we worked with in the insurance industry to support their organization’s implementation. Our team developed a strong collaborative relationship with key members, resulting in the design of several creative solutions to automate many of their manual processes.

What’s been one of your favorite destinations to travel to for a client site visit/Partner conference/HRchitect event? I enjoyed traveling to Dallas, Texas this past March to attend the HRchitect Managers’ meeting. It was great to be able to meet everyone across other practices and get to know everyone.

As part of a team that works 100% virtually, what technology or collaboration tools do you use to make your work life easier?  I am a huge fan of Supernormal. This tool allows me to focus more on the meetings and collaborating with the client instead of typing notes.

What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day?   I am motivatedbyworking together with my amazing team and co-workers to solve issues, create solutions, and have the opportunity to learn new things.

Which employee perk that HRchitect offers do you enjoy the most? Why?  The perk I enjoy the most is being able to work remotely. I can work from anywhere and save time and sanity by not sitting in traffic.
